Description of the château and Château park
Château Lechovice was purchased by its current owners in 2012, since 2014 it has been open for public and the owners run the château wine shop, the wine bar and the cafe, organize weddings and receptions for the capacity of 50 people in the château private room. Part of the spaces is rented for exhibition purposes. Within the compound there are also three rentable apartments, a four-room apartment of 70 square metres, a single-room apartment of 30 square metres, and a single-room apartment of 40 square metres. The compound itself is formed by a neogothic tomb of the Kubeck family from 1859, enclosed with a latticed pillar fence with decorative fill wrought by a blacksmith.
The château is surrounded with a park started in the times of romanticism in which you can find a number of beautiful polychromic fountains, a château colonnade with a summerhouse, French parter with a balustrade staircase and a beautiful cast-iron terrace. There is also a fruit orchard with a beehive, a vegetable garden with a greenhouse or historical waterworks.
Disposition of the château
The useful area of the château is 1, 850 square metres, four apartments in total 300 square metres, a drying room and a laundry in the courtyard 80 square metres, garages 42 square metres, farming buildings 60 square metres and a beehive, a workroom of the greenhouse and greenhouses 170 square metres. The cellars make in total 240 square metres, the family tomb 900 square metres. The total area of the land for sale including the tomb and the waterworks is 39, 000 square metres. The bulit area of the château is 2,000 square metres excluding the farming houses.
Project of the reconstruction of the château
These days 520 square metres of the residential area are used and this part is also heated. In the loft there are further 12 rooms suitable for accommodation before reconstruction. The plan for the accommodation capacity including the yard is up to 100 beds.
The project deals with creation of a hall for up to 100 people, a new access staircase leading to the attic, a catering kitchen and technical facilities, four wedding suites for 12 people.
To those who are interested we can provide accomplished project documentation (project of the reconstruction of a part of the château, project of the new water junction and a sewerage project), all included in the price of the château. The project documentation has a building permit which has come into force. The reconstruction of the northern wing has started and 2 million Czech crowns have been invested.
Subsidies and grants
Every year it is possible to draw a subsidy of 500, 000 Czech crowns from the program for the rennovation of the National heritage buildings and compounds of the National heritage institute (NPÚ), area office Brno.
Further you can draw for agitourism through Szif up to 60 % of the amount of the order. Similarly for the recovery of the historical park.
